Officials

Officials were people who worked for the king.  Their main job was to look after a city. They were essentially the boss of the police station in their city. They were very powerful since they control the police station and whatever they say, goes. They have the final say whether someone is innocent or guilty whenever a case is trialled. They are ranked by numbers, one being the best. If there was two officials arguing, the higher ranked official will always win simply because the other official cannot argue back since he is a lower rank. This system was very corrupt as many people tried to make friends with high ranked officials and if they succeeded, they could bully others by abusing his power.
